Kuakata is known for its panoramic sea beach in the world. It is situated in the southeastern part of Bangladesh. In general, it is the Second most visited tourist destination in Bangladesh. Kuakata beach is a sandy expanse 18 kilometers long and 3 kilometers wide. It is very famous for watching sunrise and sunset very closely in the wide space and water of Bay of Bengal. The unique appearance and attractive view draw the attention of the tourists. The Govt. has taken a lot of projects to make the Kuakata as one of the most tourist attractive spots. You can visit Kuakata Sea Beach as well as some of the interesting places when traveling Kuakata. For example, Fatrar Forest, Pilgrimage, Tribal Life in the Rakhain Village, Gangamati or Gajamati Forest, Shutki Polli, Keranipara Shema Mondir, Kuakata Buddhist Temple, Kuakata Eco Park, Lebur Chor, ETC. The view of the sunset from the west bank and sunrise from the bank of Gangamati will give you the awesome feeling.

You can go Kuakata from Dhaka by Bus, Train or Launch. You need to reach Patuakhali district first and then you can go to the Kuakata Beach with the local transport. From Dhaka Sadarghat you will find 3 or 4 launches which will go to Patuakhali. Such as Sunderbans, Saikat, Sattar Khan, Achol. The price starts from 350 and it will go 1500tk for VIP AC cabin. If you want to go by Bus, you can take it from the Sayedabad Bus terminal or Gabtoli. It will cost 600 to 1200 BDT according to your seat quality. It takes 12 hours to reach Kuakata directly. That means if you start your journey from 10:00 PM, you will reach in the morning. If you want to go Barishal and then Kuakata, you can also do that. It will take 80 to 100tk from Patuakhali to Kuakata Sea Beach.

Day 00 Dhaka –Kuakata:

As we will go to Kuakata directly from Dhaka, so we’ll travel on Bus. Come to the mentioned (Gabtoli/Syedabad) Bus Terminal in the event page at 7.00 PM. Then we will start our journey within 1 hour. We will provide light snack and food during the traveling period.

Day 01 Kuakata:

We will arrive in Kuakata nearly at 9:00 AM. We will check the hotel first and then complete the breakfast. Now let’s see the surroundings. We will complete the lunch in the hotel. Take rest for 30 minutes. Then we will go to the Beach. Enjoy the Beach and Sunset. Enjoy the attractive view of Kuakata Sea Beach. We will come back to the hotel in the evening. Now complete your dinner and take rest overnight.

Day 02 Kuakata:

In the day 02, we will go to visit Gongamoti early in the morning. We’ll see the sun rising. Then after completing breakfast, we will enjoy the place very closely. Then complete your launch. After launch, we will go to visit Buddist Template. Enjoy the evening on the Beach. Then come to the hotel before night. Now complete your dinner and take sleep overnight.

Day 03 Kuakata:

In the day 03, we will take our breakfast first. Then enjoy your free time or take the company of our guide. Visit the local people and enjoy the tribal culture. You can do some shopping for your family members. You will find Shutki Fish and other local things here. Now we will come back to the hotel in the afternoon. Take rest for sometimes or enjoy the Beachside. Today we will back to Dhaka, and we will start our journey at 7:00 PM. Take sleep on the Bus overnight.
