How to check the Dhaka–Cox’s Bazar train fare
- Open Bangladesh Railway’s official e-ticket website (opens a new tab). For Dhaka to Cox’s Bazar, choose Dhaka as your departure and Cox’s Bazar as your destination; reverse them for the return journey.
- Choose your journey date and a seat class, then search for trains. Check which train and class are offered; a class listed in this guide does not guarantee that it is available for your journey.
- Review the fare, applicable VAT/taxes, online service charge and final total shown by Railway before making a payment. Do not treat a base-fare figure as the final payable amount.
Official booking guidance and class descriptions checked: 6 October 2026. Railway’s website currently states that online tickets can be purchased ten days ahead and that extra-coach seats may carry an additional charge. Check the current booking window, coach and final total on the official site.

- Search your departure station, destination and travel date. Review the offered train, class, seats and total payable amount.
- Follow the current passenger-information, payment and confirmation instructions on the official website. Keep the official ticket and follow its travel requirements.
