Who operates the app
Travel Mate operates the Travel Mate Android app and the travel services connected to it. Travel Mate is registered as a business entity under Dhaka North City Corporation, trade license number TRAD/DNCC/113542.

Information we process
Depending on the features you choose and the services enabled in your app version, we may process:
- your phone number to send a WhatsApp verification code, verify control of the number, protect your account, and maintain a session;
- a random installation identifier for session safety, duplicate protection, notification registration and, only after separate analytics permission, a pseudonymous analytics digest;
- travel details you enter, such as dates, times, pickup and destination text, routes, passenger and luggage counts, vehicle preferences, flight details, interests, itinerary choices and traveler notes;
- account service records, including quote, booking, trip, deletion-request and support status;
- notification preferences and a Firebase Cloud Messaging routing token when notifications are configured; and
- limited technical and security outcomes used to prevent abuse and operate the service. We do not record OTP values or authorization credentials in analytics or ordinary application logs.
The app does not request Android access to your SMS, contacts, call history, device location, camera, microphone or shared files. SMS verification is not offered in the current MVP.
Guest use and local information
You can browse destinations and plan as a guest. Guest planning drafts and pending request drafts are stored as private app data on your device. Clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling the app can remove local-only information. Android cloud backup and device transfer are disabled for the app’s protected and commercial stores.
WhatsApp verification and service requests
When WhatsApp verification is enabled, Travel Mate sends a time-limited authentication code using an approved WhatsApp template. Account verification is security, not marketing permission.
For Tourist Transport, Airport Transfer, Custom Tour and contextual support, the app prepares a message addressed to Travel Mate and opens WhatsApp on your device. You can review, change, cancel or send the message. Travel Mate does not treat opening WhatsApp as delivery. If you send it, Meta/WhatsApp processes the message under its own terms, and Travel Mate’s business platform may create or attach an operational Lead using the actual sender number.
How we use information
We use information to:
- authenticate and protect accounts;
- provide guest planning, destination guidance and requested travel services;
- prepare and process deliberate quote or support requests;
- show account-linked quote, booking and trip status;
- deliver requested service or trip notifications;
- prevent abuse, investigate faults and secure the service; and
- measure coarse app use only when the feature is enabled and you separately opt in.
Creating an account, verifying a phone, requesting service or accepting service-processing terms does not grant marketing permission. Marketing messages require a separate confirmed choice. Optional first-party analytics is disabled by default; turning it off stops new collection and clears its local queue.
Service providers and disclosure
Travel Mate uses its WABA platform, Meta/WhatsApp for verification and customer-initiated messages, and Firebase Cloud Messaging for notification transport when configured. These providers may process information under their terms and our applicable service arrangements.
We do not sell personal information. The reviewed Android app contains no advertising SDK. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect travelers or the service, to investigate fraud or abuse, or as part of an authorized business transfer with appropriate safeguards.
Security
The app denies cleartext network traffic. Verified credentials and the trip wallet use Android Keystore-backed encryption. OTP values stay briefly in memory and are cleared after submission. Server credentials, Meta access tokens, Firebase service-account credentials, OTP secrets and release-signing keys are not included in the Android app.
No transmission or storage system is completely secure. Contact us promptly if you believe your account or information has been misused.
Retention
- Verification codes are valid briefly. Challenge, abuse, session, support, notification and optional analytics records use bounded operational periods.
- Optional analytics records are retained for 30 days in the current implementation.
- Account, deletion-request, notification registration, WhatsApp/CRM, Lead, quote, booking and trip records do not have one automatic expiry period. They are retained for service history and operational, legal, fraud-prevention, dispute and accounting needs. When a verified deletion request is approved, records that are not needed for those purposes are deleted or de-identified within 30 days. Records that must be retained are restricted to the required purpose and deleted or de-identified when that obligation ends.
Your choices and rights
You can:
- use guest planning without an account;
- decline to send a prepared WhatsApp message;
- keep notifications and marketing disabled;
- separately opt in to or withdraw optional analytics;
- sign out and clear local app data; and
- request account and associated-data deletion from Account > Privacy and account or from the public account-deletion page.
A deletion request begins a reviewed process and does not promise immediate erasure. Travel Mate will acknowledge the request within three business days. After verifying control of the account phone number, Travel Mate will delete or de-identify data linked to the account within 30 days, except information that must be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, security, dispute or accounting reasons. We will explain any retained category and, where available, its applicable period.
Children
Travel Mate is a general travel-service app and is not designed for children to create accounts independently. A parent or guardian should manage any travel request involving a child. The app is not intended for the Google Play Families program.
Changes
We may update this notice when the app, providers or legal requirements change. We will publish the effective date and make material changes reasonably visible.

আমরা যে তথ্য প্রক্রিয়া করি
আপনি কোন সুবিধা বেছে নেন এবং আপনার অ্যাপ সংস্করণে কোন সেবা চালু আছে তার ওপর নির্ভর করে আমরা প্রক্রিয়া করতে পারি:
- WhatsApp যাচাই কোড পাঠানো, নম্বরের নিয়ন্ত্রণ যাচাই, অ্যাকাউন্ট সুরক্ষা ও সেশন রাখার জন্য ফোন নম্বর;
- সেশন নিরাপত্তা, একই অনুরোধ শনাক্ত করা, নোটিফিকেশন নিবন্ধন এবং শুধু আলাদা অ্যানালিটিক্স অনুমতির পরে পরিচয়বিহীন অ্যানালিটিক্স ডাইজেস্টের জন্য একটি এলোমেলো ইনস্টলেশন আইডি;
- আপনার দেওয়া ভ্রমণ তথ্য, যেমন তারিখ, সময়, পিকআপ ও গন্তব্যের লেখা, রুট, যাত্রী ও ব্যাগের সংখ্যা, যানবাহনের পছন্দ, ফ্লাইটের তথ্য, আগ্রহ, ভ্রমণসূচি ও নোট;
- অ্যাকাউন্ট সেবার রেকর্ড, যেমন কোট, বুকিং, ভ্রমণ, মুছে ফেলার অনুরোধ ও সহায়তার অবস্থা;
- নোটিফিকেশন চালু থাকলে পছন্দ ও Firebase Cloud Messaging রাউটিং টোকেন; এবং
- অপব্যবহার ঠেকানো ও সেবা পরিচালনার জন্য সীমিত কারিগরি ও নিরাপত্তা ফলাফল। সাধারণ অ্যাপ লগ বা অ্যানালিটিক্সে OTP বা অনুমোদন পরিচয়পত্র রাখা হয় না।
অ্যাপটি আপনার SMS, কনট্যাক্ট, কলের ইতিহাস, ডিভাইস লোকেশন, ক্যামেরা, মাইক্রোফোন বা শেয়ার করা ফাইলের Android অনুমতি চায় না। বর্তমান MVP-তে SMS যাচাই নেই।
অতিথি ব্যবহার ও স্থানীয় তথ্য
অ্যাকাউন্ট ছাড়াই গন্তব্য দেখা ও পরিকল্পনা করা যায়। অতিথি পরিকল্পনা ও অপেক্ষমাণ অনুরোধের খসড়া আপনার ডিভাইসে ব্যক্তিগত অ্যাপ তথ্য হিসেবে থাকে। অ্যাপের তথ্য মুছে ফেলা বা আনইনস্টল করলে শুধু ডিভাইসে থাকা তথ্য হারাতে পারে। সুরক্ষিত ও বাণিজ্যিক তথ্যের জন্য Android ক্লাউড ব্যাকআপ ও ডিভাইস ট্রান্সফার বন্ধ।
WhatsApp যাচাই ও সেবার অনুরোধ
WhatsApp যাচাই চালু থাকলে অনুমোদিত টেমপ্লেট দিয়ে সীমিত সময়ের কোড পাঠানো হয়। অ্যাকাউন্ট যাচাই নিরাপত্তার জন্য; এটি বিপণন অনুমতি নয়।
ট্যুরিস্ট যানবাহন, এয়ারপোর্ট ট্রান্সফার, কাস্টম ট্যুর ও প্রসঙ্গভিত্তিক সহায়তার জন্য অ্যাপ Travel Mate-এর উদ্দেশ্যে বার্তা প্রস্তুত করে আপনার ডিভাইসে WhatsApp খোলে। আপনি বার্তা দেখে পরিবর্তন, বাতিল বা পাঠাতে পারেন। শুধু WhatsApp খোলা হলে Travel Mate বার্তা পৌঁছেছে ধরে নেয় না। পাঠালে Meta/WhatsApp তাদের শর্ত অনুযায়ী বার্তা প্রক্রিয়া করে এবং Travel Mate-এর ব্যবসায়িক প্ল্যাটফর্ম আসল প্রেরক নম্বর দিয়ে পরিচালনাগত লিড তৈরি বা যুক্ত করতে পারে।
তথ্য ব্যবহারের কারণ
আমরা তথ্য ব্যবহার করি:
- অ্যাকাউন্ট যাচাই ও সুরক্ষা করতে;
- অতিথি পরিকল্পনা, গন্তব্য নির্দেশনা ও আপনার চাওয়া ভ্রমণসেবা দিতে;
- আপনার স্পষ্ট কোট বা সহায়তা অনুরোধ প্রস্তুত ও প্রক্রিয়া করতে;
- অ্যাকাউন্টের সঙ্গে যুক্ত কোট, বুকিং ও ভ্রমণের অবস্থা দেখাতে;
- আপনার চাওয়া সেবা বা ভ্রমণ নোটিফিকেশন দিতে;
- অপব্যবহার ঠেকাতে, ত্রুটি অনুসন্ধান ও সেবা সুরক্ষিত রাখতে; এবং
- সুবিধাটি চালু এবং আপনি আলাদাভাবে সম্মতি দিলে সীমিত অ্যাপ ব্যবহার পরিমাপ করতে।
অ্যাকাউন্ট তৈরি, ফোন যাচাই, সেবার অনুরোধ বা সেবা প্রক্রিয়াকরণের শর্ত গ্রহণ বিপণন অনুমতি দেয় না। বিপণন বার্তার জন্য আলাদা নিশ্চিত পছন্দ দরকার। ঐচ্ছিক প্রথম-পক্ষ অ্যানালিটিক্স ডিফল্টভাবে বন্ধ; বন্ধ করলে নতুন সংগ্রহ থামে এবং স্থানীয় সারি মুছে যায়।
সেবা প্রদানকারী ও প্রকাশ
কনফিগার করা থাকলে Travel Mate তার WABA প্ল্যাটফর্ম, যাচাই ও গ্রাহক-শুরু করা বার্তার জন্য Meta/WhatsApp এবং নোটিফিকেশনের জন্য Firebase Cloud Messaging ব্যবহার করে। এসব প্রতিষ্ঠান তাদের শর্ত ও প্রযোজ্য সেবা ব্যবস্থার অধীনে তথ্য প্রক্রিয়া করতে পারে।
আমরা ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য বিক্রি করি না। পর্যালোচিত Android অ্যাপে বিজ্ঞাপনের SDK নেই। আইন অনুযায়ী প্রয়োজন হলে, ভ্রমণকারী বা সেবা রক্ষা, প্রতারণা বা অপব্যবহার তদন্ত অথবা উপযুক্ত সুরক্ষাসহ অনুমোদিত ব্যবসায়িক হস্তান্তরের জন্য তথ্য প্রকাশ করা হতে পারে।
নিরাপত্তা
অ্যাপটি অসুরক্ষিত ক্লিয়ারটেক্সট নেটওয়ার্ক ট্রাফিক বন্ধ রাখে। যাচাই করা পরিচয়পত্র ও ট্রিপ ওয়ালেট Android Keystore-ভিত্তিক এনক্রিপশন ব্যবহার করে। OTP অল্প সময় মেমরিতে থাকে এবং জমা দেওয়ার পরে মুছে যায়। সার্ভার পরিচয়পত্র, Meta অ্যাক্সেস টোকেন, Firebase সার্ভিস-অ্যাকাউন্ট পরিচয়পত্র, OTP গোপন মান ও রিলিজ সাইনিং কী Android অ্যাপে রাখা হয় না।
কোনো তথ্য আদান-প্রদান বা সংরক্ষণ ব্যবস্থা সম্পূর্ণ নিরাপদ নয়। অ্যাকাউন্ট বা তথ্যের অপব্যবহারের সন্দেহ হলে দ্রুত আমাদের জানান।
তথ্য রাখার সময়
- যাচাই কোড অল্প সময় কার্যকর থাকে। চ্যালেঞ্জ, অপব্যবহার, সেশন, সহায়তা, নোটিফিকেশন ও ঐচ্ছিক অ্যানালিটিক্স রেকর্ড সীমিত পরিচালনাগত সময় ব্যবহার করে।
- বর্তমান বাস্তবায়নে ঐচ্ছিক অ্যানালিটিক্স রেকর্ড ৩০ দিন রাখা হয়।
- অ্যাকাউন্ট, মুছে ফেলার অনুরোধ, নোটিফিকেশন নিবন্ধন, WhatsApp/CRM, লিড, কোট, বুকিং ও ভ্রমণ রেকর্ডের জন্য একটি স্বয়ংক্রিয় মেয়াদ নেই। সেবার ইতিহাস এবং পরিচালনাগত, আইনগত, প্রতারণা প্রতিরোধ, বিরোধ ও হিসাবরক্ষণের প্রয়োজনে এগুলো রাখা হয়। যাচাই করা মুছে ফেলার অনুরোধ অনুমোদিত হলে এসব উদ্দেশ্যে প্রয়োজন নেই এমন রেকর্ড ৩০ দিনের মধ্যে মুছে ফেলা বা পরিচয়বিহীন করা হয়। যে রেকর্ড রাখা আবশ্যক, তা শুধু প্রয়োজনীয় উদ্দেশ্যে সীমাবদ্ধ থাকে এবং দায় শেষ হলে মুছে ফেলা বা পরিচয়বিহীন করা হয়।
আপনার পছন্দ ও অধিকার
আপনি করতে পারেন:
- অ্যাকাউন্ট ছাড়া অতিথি পরিকল্পনা ব্যবহার;
- প্রস্তুত WhatsApp বার্তা না পাঠানোর সিদ্ধান্ত;
- নোটিফিকেশন ও বিপণন বন্ধ রাখা;
- আলাদাভাবে ঐচ্ছিক অ্যানালিটিক্স চালু বা বন্ধ করা;
- সাইন আউট ও স্থানীয় অ্যাপ তথ্য মুছে ফেলা; এবং
- অ্যাকাউন্ট > গোপনীয়তা ও অ্যাকাউন্ট অথবা প্রকাশ্য অ্যাকাউন্ট-মুছে-ফেলার পৃষ্ঠা থেকে অ্যাকাউন্ট ও সংশ্লিষ্ট তথ্য মুছে ফেলার অনুরোধ।
মুছে ফেলার অনুরোধ একটি পর্যালোচিত প্রক্রিয়া শুরু করে; সঙ্গে সঙ্গে সব তথ্য মুছে ফেলার প্রতিশ্রুতি নয়। Travel Mate তিন কার্যদিবসের মধ্যে অনুরোধ পাওয়ার কথা জানাবে। অ্যাকাউন্টের ফোন নম্বরের নিয়ন্ত্রণ যাচাইয়ের পরে ৩০ দিনের মধ্যে অ্যাকাউন্টের সঙ্গে যুক্ত তথ্য মুছে ফেলা বা পরিচয়বিহীন করা হবে; তবে আইন, প্রতারণা প্রতিরোধ, নিরাপত্তা, বিরোধ বা হিসাবরক্ষণের জন্য রাখতে হবে এমন তথ্য এর ব্যতিক্রম। রাখা তথ্যের ধরন এবং সম্ভব হলে প্রযোজ্য সময় জানানো হবে।
শিশু
Travel Mate সাধারণ ভ্রমণসেবার অ্যাপ এবং শিশুদের স্বাধীনভাবে অ্যাকাউন্ট তৈরির জন্য নকশা করা নয়। শিশুকে নিয়ে ভ্রমণের অনুরোধ অভিভাবকের পরিচালনা করা উচিত। অ্যাপটি Google Play Families প্রোগ্রামের জন্য নয়।
পরিবর্তন
অ্যাপ, সেবা প্রদানকারী বা আইনগত প্রয়োজন বদলালে এই বিজ্ঞপ্তি হালনাগাদ হতে পারে। কার্যকর তারিখ প্রকাশ এবং গুরুত্বপূর্ণ পরিবর্তন যুক্তিসঙ্গতভাবে দৃশ্যমান করা হবে।
